Position Overview:

 

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing the construction of electrical systems, including substations and distribution networks. Additionally, he will provide consulting services on billing, estimating, planning, and design aspects of electrical projects with civil construction. The role involves managing projects from inception to completion, conducting maintenance activities, and ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Design, plan, and oversee the construction of electrical systems, including substations and distribution networks. 

Provide consulting services on billing, estimating, planning, and design aspects of electrical projects.

Manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgetary constraints.

Conduct maintenance activities and troubleshooting of electrical systems and machinery, including PLCs, HVAC systems, and fire protection systems.

Collaborate with civil construction teams to integrate electrical systems into overall project designs.

Prepare detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities, and project schedules.

Ensure compliance with relevant safety standards and regulations in all project activities.

 

Requirements:

 

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field minimum of 5(five) years of experience.

Experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on substations and distribution systems.

Strong knowledge of civil construction practices and principles.

Experience in preparing detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities, and project schedules.

Proficiency in billing, estimating, consulting, and planning for electrical projects.

Experience in design, management, and maintenance of electrical systems.

Experience in PLCs, HVAC systems, and fire protection systems.

Ability to troubleshoot electrical machinery and systems effectively.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in 2D electrical design software/tools.
