BJN was expand the capacity of an existing Crude Distillation Unit (CDU).
To achieve the required 80,000 barrels per stream day (BPSD) capacity within the allotted space, BJN’s project team devised a ‘design island’ to minimize the required plot area without compromising performance. The final vacuum stage was replaced on a 2-stage vacuum tower. Our team of engineers provided the:
The client selected the MBC+ FCC Gasoline Hydrotreater processing technology from Axens North America. This project served as a key component of the client’s strategy for cleaner transportation fuels. The unit performed as effectively as designed and the project design and construction cost was lower than similar units.
EPC+F for Renewable Diesel Plant in Southwest UK.
Work performed by BJN during the project development phases (FEL-2/3) in 2022/2023 allowed the client to obtain key commercial and technical information for the project, including capital costs, design requirements, feedstock impacts and required infrastructure. This enabled the client to confirm project economics and to make needed adjustments to the RDU design to enhance feedstock and operating flexibility.
