Every project starts with a feedstock, but to realize it, a business model and a financing plan is necessary. We already get involved at this early stage. Typically the project development is a multi-staged and iterative process in which the plant configuration, the partnering, the financing  and all other key elements get specified to a higher level of detail in each iteration with the financial close and start of engineering and physical works as ultimate result. For example one very detailed process is the integration of partners where a complex project contracting structure comes into play. Approximately 60 contracts have to be aligned and coordinated with stakeholders and shareholder agreements, feedstock supply contracts, off-take agreements, financing and export credits, EPC contracts and operation and maintenance contracts have to be arranged.
