Position Overview:
The ideal candidate will have a strong educational background in Electrical Engineering, along with practical experience in Power Industry, Solar Energy, Electrical Automation, Utility Communication Systems, Low-High Voltage Power handling, Industrial Automation, 48V DC Power Management. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on challenging projects and collaborate with talented professionals in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as the leader of the electrical work package for the planning, calculation and installation/execution planning of electrical building systems such as Solar system, electrical local substations/distribution panels, grounding, cable routing.
All electrical issues beyond the DC block of the battery, i.e., connection to low/high voltage grids in field installations, transformer and inverter layouts.
Develop solutions for the grid, solar and battery projects at GW scale in coordination with local utilities, authorities, contractors and OEMs.
Planning the installation execution depending on the project phase.
Creation and review of load calculation tables, overview diagrams, circuit diagrams of control cabinets, quantity lists and functional descriptions.
Configure and maintain Electrical automation systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Implement and optimize utility communication systems.
Perform with industrial automation of machinery and processes.
Collaborate with other stakeholders internally and externally.
Compliance with safety, health and environmental protection requirements.
Knowledge of local technical standards and regulations.
Component selection and definition of technical specifications.
Supports the development of off grid/on grid solutions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
Minimum 10(Ten) years of operations or a related field and proven experience.
Expertise on low-medium voltage switchgear, power supply system and conventional system technology.
Have professional experience in the areas of electrical grid infrastructure, protection systems and/or inverter technologies
Ideally, you have experience in at least one of the areas of HS/MS equipment, overhead line design, protection, grid codes
Familiar with power quality criteria, load flow SW, inverter technology, off-grid/island systems, grid-forming topics
Solid background in mid/high voltage electrical engineering topics and a good overview in the field of battery technologies or energy storage applications
Proven experience in power system automation, implementation and maintenance.
Strong understanding of utility communication systems, including optical communication.
Hands-on experience in industrial automation.
Social skills, to build strong networks and to get involved with international teams and cultures.
Experience using business/technical software like MS Excel, MS Project, and CAD software,
